About Siberian State Medical University
Siberian State Medical University (SibMed), located in the academic hub of Tomsk, Russia, was established in 1888 by the decree of Emperor Alexander II. It is one of the top three medical universities in Russia and the only one granted the prestigious status of a Flagship University.
With a history spanning over 130 years, SibMed has trained more than 60,000 healthcare professionals.
