Established in 1931, Orel State University (OSU) is a premier public institution of higher education in Russia, recognized for its excellence in medical education and scientific research. Initially founded as a Pedagogical Institute, it was renamed Orel State University on September 11, 1996, and has since developed into a multidisciplinary classical university.
