‘E-Learning' is the most convenient method of study. The students will be able to watch the Video lectures of the proficient Medical faculty who will explain the topics with the aid of visuals prepared in power point presentation. Unlike the traditional method of classroom teaching, these lectures can be watched any number of times to understand and learn a topic.
The entire subjects of MBBS study form the syllabus for Screening Test, and the student is required to make very intensive preparation of each of these subjects. The examination pattern at Screening Test is Multiple Choice Questions which requires lot of practice too. Due to the semester system of their study, it is most likely that the student looses touch with the cleared subjects as they keep progressing, and the burden of preparation for all subjects falls upon them at a time, in the end. In such conditions, due to inadequate preparation, students could not clear MCI Screening Test in the first attempt and often take several attempts, which will be a waste of their precious time and also money for the parents, apart from creating an undesirable gap in their career.
Actually, the preparation for MCI Screening Test is much similar to the preparation which they have done for the Medical Entrance Exam (EMCET) during 10+2 (Inter). The student requires proper guidance and direction through some form of coaching, and he/she should be put to thorough revision of all subjects as per the prescribed syllabus. To facilitate such kind of preparation, NASC has come up with ‘E-Learning' program meant for coaching the students from their very first year of MBBS study, and ensuring their success at MCI Screening Test in the first attempt itself .
